FAQ's

Q:  What happens if it rains on the day of the ride?

A: Event organizers for The Bike The Bay Ride have been advised by local officials that should it rain on the morning of September 7, the event will need to be canceled in the interest of safety for all participants. Bike The Bay has gone to great lengths to make this an enjoybale and safe experience for all and the threat of rain on the surface of the San Diego-Coronado Bay Bridge would compromise that experience. Should this occur, every attempt will be made to reschedule the ride.

Q: Are bicycle rentals available for those who don't have their own bike to ride Bike the Bay?

A: Bike Revolution (Peter Smith, Mgr.) has authorized a discount for any registrants needing rentals for Bike The Bay. They are located downtown near the start/finish and will be open for early pick up and last minute sales (tubes, clothing, etc.). Reservations for those needing a bike must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Bike Revolution is located at 522 6th Avenue, (619) 564-4843, sandiegobiketours@gmail.com.
